The city of Venice is spread over many islands, with the Grand Canal and innumerable small canals threading through it. There are no cars. It is a very walkable city, and (of course) there are also no hills... It is very easy to get lost, but it seems that every time you get lost, you stumble across yet another amazing rio or campo... This was my third trip to Venice, and I stayed for longer this time than ever before. We had about five full days there, and it was not enough. I know that we will be returning...
