Monteriggioni is a very small hill town with a wall all around it. It was the first place we drove to, since it was quite close to Siena. It was the first time I had driven in Italy. I had heard a lot of stories about Italian drivers and the difficulties of driving in Italy. However, there really was no problem. Lorna thought that maybe I've always driven Italian-style: fast and impatient! I felt right at home...
