We arrived in Pitlochry Wednesday night and had time to explore a bit down by the River Tay. Thursday, our last full day in Scotland, we did the mandatory whisky distillery tour at Bells Distillery in Pitlochry (yeah, I know, it's a tough job, but someone has to do it...) and then, on impulse stopped at Dunkeld. That was a good choice-- Dunkeld had a great, photogenic cathedral and ruins. After Dunkeld, we drove into Perth for lunch, and then on into Dunfermline.
