Scotland - Autumn 2004
This trip came about because I was going to take part in a two-day photographic conference in Edinburgh in September of 2004. One thing led to another, and eventually it grew to a week-long photo expedition with my good friend and veteran traveler Bob Reidlinger. I arrived at Edinburgh Airport, met Bob, and we spent most of the first day in Edinburgh (What jet lag? Just keep moving!). Edinburgh is an attractive, vibrant city, with a great sense of history. We were lucky to have a partly sunny day, and we made the most of it, walking all around the city and up to the famous castle.
